Description
SBG Technology Solutions has an immediate opening for an FMS Acquisition Analyst at our Washington, DC location. Candidate will provide acquisition support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) Foreign Military Sales Program Office (IWS 4.0) by performing programmatic and logistics functions.
 
Position responsibilities:
-- Assists the client with various programmatic duties to include, but not limited to, meeting attendance/support, presentation support, publication support, correspondence, action item tracking/closure, and weekly reporting
-- Develops formal correspondence
-- Works with the Department of Defense, Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs), field activities, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Teams, and various vendors to develop, identify, locate, support, acquire, and manage country-specific requirements
-- Assists in planning, preparing for, and supporting international Program Management Reviews, Security Assistance/Cooperation Management Reviews, and other various meetings in support of the client
-- Tracks and monitors program metrics to identify areas for improvements and implements process improvements accordingly
-- Supports and adheres to Navy and national disclosure policy for the export of U.S. articles and services to foreign Allies, as outlined within the U.S. Arms Export Control Act
-- Coordinates SBG contract deliverables to include but not limited to, monthly reports, Milestone Reviews, Quarterly Program Reviews, and training events
 
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience, and four to six years of related government acquisition experience. This experience must include:
-- Knowledge of Security Cooperation and Security Assistance programs as outlined in the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)
-- Knowledge of FMS tools and processes
-- Advanced attention to detail
-- An active secret security clearance
 
Desired Qualifications:
-- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales programs
-- Knowledge of the FMS lifecycle from pre-Letter of Request through delivery of hardware and/or services
-- Proficiency in entire Microsoft Office Suite, to include MS Project and SharePoint
